No — and this is not open to negotiation. Advertising with Gladewick does not guarantee, influence, or earn editorial coverage of any kind. Display advertisers are not mentioned in our editorial articles unless they have been independently evaluated. Sponsored content placements are clearly labelled and subject to our editorial accuracy standards. Product review submissions are evaluated honestly under our published testing methodology — a brand that advertises with us is held to exactly the same review standard as a brand that does not.
Brand partners may review sponsored content for factual accuracy before publication — specifically to confirm that product specifications, brand information, and technical claims are correct. However, brand partners may not alter editorial tone, request changes to the article structure, or remove disclosures. The final editorial decision on all sponsored content rests with Gladewick’s editorial team. Sponsored content that does not meet our accuracy and labelling standards will not be published regardless of the commercial arrangement.

Brands in categories not directly related to home and garden are generally not a strong fit for our audience.
If a product submitted for review performs poorly in testing, the review reflects that honestly. Our How We Test Products page explains our methodology in full, including what happens when products fail. We communicate our testing findings to the brand before publication so they are not surprised by a negative review — but the results are not negotiable, and brands cannot withdraw a product from review after testing has concluded to avoid a negative rating. An honest negative review is the same service to our readers as an honest positive one.
