Gladewick takes the opposite approach. Every article is researched against authoritative, primary sources — manufacturer documentation, building codes, university extension programs, and government resources like the EPA and ENERGY STAR. Claims are tied to those sources, figures are checked before anything is published, and every article is clear about how it was researched and produced.
And I’ll be direct about who “we” is. Gladewick is run by one person. I’m Sameer Patel — the founder, the editor, and the name behind every article. My background is in banking, not the building trades, so what I bring isn’t a contractor’s toolbelt — it’s diligence: I dig into primary sources, verify numbers, write clearly, and fix mistakes in the open when I get something wrong.

Sameer is a former banker who left finance to build Gladewick as an independent home and garden publication. He isn’t a licensed tradesperson or a horticulturist — and he doesn’t pretend to be. His work is research-driven: every topic is checked against authoritative primary sources, every figure is verified before publishing, and every article carries a clear note on how it was produced. When a reader flags an error, he corrects it and notes what changed.
A note on expert review: Gladewick does not currently have a credentialed expert review panel. If qualified reviewers join in the future, they’ll be named here with their real credentials — and not before.
