7.1 Your Representations

Editorial Disclaimer & Accuracy of Content
Gladewick publishes home and garden content for informational and educational purposes only. While we maintain rigorous editorial standards — including expert authorship and independent peer review — the content on this Site is not a substitute for professional advice from a licensed contractor, architect, interior designer, landscape professional, electrician, plumber, or any other credentialed trade or design professional.
Not professional advice: Before undertaking any home improvement, renovation, electrical, plumbing, structural, or landscaping project, consult with a qualified licensed professional. Home projects involve real risks including personal injury, property damage, and code violations. Reliance on Gladewick content without professional consultation is at your own risk.
Gladewick makes reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy of its content at the time of publication. However:
- Building codes, material availability, product specifications, and best practices vary by location and change over time
- Product reviews reflect the author’s experience at the time of testing; products may change, be discontinued, or have different performance in different conditions
- Pricing, availability, and specifications of products mentioned on the Site may change without notice
- Content that was accurate at the time of publication may become outdated; we endeavor to update articles on a rolling basis but cannot guarantee that all content is current
Gladewick publishes a Corrections Policy and welcomes reports of inaccurate content via support@gladewick.com. For our full liability limitations, see Section 12 and our standalone Disclaimer.
Affiliate Relationships & Advertising
Gladewick participates in affiliate marketing programs and earns commissions when users click certain product links and make qualifying purchases. This relationship is governed by our standalone Affiliate Disclosure, which you are encouraged to read in full.
The Site also displays advertising provided by third-party networks, including Google AdSense. The presence of any advertisement on the Site does not constitute Gladewick’s endorsement of the advertised product, service, or company.
Gladewick’s editorial content is maintained independently of its commercial relationships. Affiliate commission rates and advertising arrangements do not influence editorial recommendations or article content. For full details, see our Editorial Policy.
Third-Party Links & External Services
The Site contains links to third-party websites, including manufacturer sites, retailers, reference resources, and other external content. These links are provided for your convenience and do not constitute an endorsement, sponsorship, or approval of those websites, their content, or their operators.
Gladewick has no control over, and accepts no responsibility for, the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party website. When you click a link that takes you away from Gladewick.com, these Terms and our Privacy Policy cease to apply and you are subject to the terms and privacy policy of the destination website.
Gladewick expressly disclaims all liability arising from or related to your use of third-party websites accessed through links on the Site. We encourage you to review the terms of use and privacy policy of any third-party website before providing your personal information or making any purchase.

Governing Law
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of the Site shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States of America, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
To the extent that any dispute is subject to state law, it shall be governed by the laws of the state in which Gladewick is principally operated, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules.
You agree that any legal action or proceeding between you and Gladewick arising from or relating to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the applicable federal or state courts of the United States, and you hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of such courts.
Dispute Resolution
We hope that any concerns you have can be resolved informally. Before initiating any formal dispute resolution, you agree to first contact Gladewick at hello@gladewick.com with a written description of your dispute and the relief you are seeking. Gladewick will attempt to resolve your concern within 30 days of receipt.
16.1 Informal Resolution
Most concerns can be resolved quickly and without formal proceedings. Please email us before escalating any dispute, as we are committed to resolving issues fairly and efficiently.
16.2 Binding Arbitration
If informal resolution fails, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site that cannot be resolved informally shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court. This arbitration provision applies to the maximum extent permitted by law.
16.3 Class Action Waiver
You agree that any arbitration shall be conducted solely on an individual basis and not as a class, collective, consolidated, or representative action. You waive the right to participate in any class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against Gladewick.
16.4 Exceptions to Arbitration
Notwithstanding the above, either party may seek emergency injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm, including to protect intellectual property rights, pending completion of arbitration. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking provisional remedies in court.
